My name is Amber, and I am a high school biology teacher at a local high school in Charlotte. I created this blog to journal my fitness journey, and I invite you to follow along. I started my fitness journey in October of 2012 (so about seven months ago now) by signing up at a local gym and with a personal trainer, Sasha Perry. Originally, my goal was to lose a little bit of weight and tone before my wedding in June (so close!); however, as I continued down my weight loss and training journey, my goals changed. Now, I have to say that my goals would not have changed without some support from my fiance Greg and my trainer Sasha. My fitness journey has now turned into a lifestyle that I want to continue to maintain. As a result, I have become a fiend for fitness and nutrition information to help support my journey, and I will try and share what I learn as I go along.
